Rachel was up before everyone else of course so I kept Rachel busy as long as possible and when we finally decided to let the girls open their Easter baskets separately Ashley woke up! Perfect timing.
The favorite gifts were the dry erase boards.
This is the only picture we got of Rachel on Easter for 2 reasons in the morning she didn't want any taken and in the afternoon she got an ear infection and laid in Grandma Wendy's bed watching a movie with Mom.
But after church not knowing Rachel was about to get sick we headed to Grandma Wendy's for the annual egg hunt and Easter dinner. Rachel feel asleep in the car and we thought she needed a nap, thankfully Uncle Jess was there and got out his gear and prescription pad to fix Rachel up, but until we got the medicine she was not wanting to participate in much, so Ashely went on the egg hunt with the rest of the cousins and found extra eggs for her big sis.
Due to a very busy week leading up to Easter, egg dying was saved for FHE the evening after Easter. The girls didn't care they had a great time.This was Ashley's first time so she got to pick the egg, put it on the holder that daddys was holding and say where to put it, then when they were done soaking in the dye she got say which one daddy was going to take out.
For Rachel this is her second year and is becoming an "eggs"-pert dyer (sorry couldn't help it.)
