March 26th we went to Red Rock for a hike and took the girls with us. They did great! We did the Children's Discovery Trail that ends at a seasonal waterfall. Lucky for us it had just rained and the mountains still had snow, thus we had a small waterfall. The girls climbed behind it and Rachel even touched the falling water. Another family from my MOMS Club joined us and that made it more fun for Rachel to have a friend to hike with. At some points during the hike you have to climb up rocks and down them and we had to tell the girls to stop holding hands or we were going to see a domino effect as they pushed each other off the rocks. This is certainly something we need to do more of. One of these days we'll have another free Saturday.
